LEAVE A LEGACY® is the public awareness campaign of the National Committee on Planned Giving. LEAVE A LEGACY® programs across the country are educating the public about the benefits of leaving bequests to charity in wills and estate plans. - Prepare a will! With a will, you control the assets you worked a lifetime to acquire!
- Leave a gift in your will to a charitable organization like OPALGA that has made a difference in your life or in the life of someone you love. Imagine the positive impact on our community if everyone remembered to make at least one charitable gift!
- Donate a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your assets, which can include stocks, bonds, certificates of deposit, real estate, vehicles, art, jewelry and other personal property.
- Name OPALGA as the beneficiary of your IRA or pension plan.
- Name OPALGA as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy or purchase a new policy and name us as the beneficiary.
- Remember deceased loved ones with a memorial gift to OPALGA.
- Encourage family and friends to leave gifts to charities in their wills.
